Start with the boardwalk as a line, not a checklist

Ocean City Boardwalk runs about 2.5 miles from the inlet to 27th Street. The most useful first visit starts at the inlet, reads the pier and amusement district, then moves north until the crowd, food, and beach rhythm starts to feel complete.

Use the tram as a pacing tool

The Boardwalk Tram is not only a novelty. It lets families, older visitors, and evening groups experience more of the corridor without committing to a five-mile out-and-back walk.

Separate morning photos from evening energy

Morning gives cleaner wooden lines, benches, and ocean light. Evening gives neon, arcades, food counters, music, and summer crowd texture. Both are true to the boardwalk, but they produce completely different visits.
